Rumi Tree Art Gallery in West Sedona will feature artists Patricia Saxton and Sahar Paydar in our Open Studio with Reception on Saturday, November 14, from 1 to 4 pm. The gallery will also have video of artist Theo Schildkamp working in his studio in Provence, France, for all to enjoy! Champagne, orange juice, and hors d'oeuvres will be served. This is free and open to the public.
Rumi Tree is dedicated to merging the beauty of expression with the energy of life within all of us. The gallery utilizes abundant outdoor space so that our party guests may exercise social distancing and still enjoy engaging with Saxton and Sahar while each paints in the gallery. Free disposable masks will be available to guests, as well.
Saxton has an approach across mediums that is both intuitive and disciplined, with a palette that reflects a deep sensitivity for light and color. She is also a children's book author and illustrator and our guests will have the opportunity to purchase personally signed copies of her books available at the gallery.
Sahar, owner of Rumi Tree Art Gallery, will show her unique style of painting in smooth and surreal monochromatic oils as well as engage with guests answering questions about her artistic process as well as the conception of the gallery.
Rumi Tree Art Gallery is located at 40 Soldiers Pass Road, Suite 12, in West Sedona. Gallery hours are 11 am to 3 pm Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Private appointments may be arranged by calling 518-331-0330.
